Radio presenter Edward Kwach dies after battle with Meningitis

Veteran Kenyan radio presenter Edward Carey Kwach has passed away at the age of 49 after a battle with meningitis. His death occurred on the night of April 28, 2025, while he was receiving treatment at a Nairobi hospital. The news was confirmed by family spokesperson Michael Okwiri, who described Kwach as a beloved figure whose voice and presence resonated with many listeners nationwide .

Kwach's career in radio spanned over three decades, during which he became a household name in Kenya.
