Migori Family Mourns 13-Year-Old Daughter Found Dead in Her Room

A family in Suna South, Migori County, is mourning the sudden and tragic death of their 13-year-old daughter, Teresia Adhiambo, under mysterious circumstances.

According to her parents, Teresia was in good health the previous evening. She had supper with the family and showed no signs of illness or distress before going to bed. However, tragedy struck the following morning when her mother, Grace, went to wake her up for school. After knocking several times with no response, she called her husband for assistance.

The father broke down the door, only to make a devastating discovery—Teresia was lifeless. The cause of her death remains unknown, leaving the family and the community in deep shock and pain.

Local authorities, led by area chief Millicent Atieno, have assured the family that investigations have already commenced to determine the circumstances surrounding the young girl’s tragic demise.
